Steve Leighty, CEO

Steve brings more than 20 years of experience developing, marketing, and importing vehicles into the United States and Canada from China. During that time he handled all aspects of contract negotiation and market assessment while developing an extensive base of dealers and distributors. Steve possesses an intimate understanding of the mechanics of vehicle distribution market. Over his decades of sales experience, Steve developed an extensive network of dealers and distributors and he maintains close contact with this existing network of more than 100 dealers and distributors.

 

Robert Lee, COO

Robert is a successful business owner with substantial experience in operations, extensive operations experience in manufacturing, product distribution and international trade and logistics, including the global sale and distribution of consumer off-road vehicles. Prior to acquiring his own business, Robert was VP, Operations, for Kasea Motorsports with Mr. Leighty. He learned all about global shipping and logistics as the Regional Sales Manager for Circle International, Inc., one of the leading global logistics companies in USA at the time. Washington State Governor Gary Lock appointed Robert to serve as Director, King County International Trade Expansion & Economic Development Initiative Oversight Board, appointed by Gov. Gary Locke. In that role, Robert led two successful international trade missions.

 

John Pirtle, Chief Technology Officer

John brings more than 20 years of design and technical experience to Ecocruise. John has designed all of the Ecocruise line of vehicles except for the EZip brand, which the company will sell under a license from a third party.  John also designed a Navigation Multi Media Control System used in several vehicles. He holds several patents as inventor and co-inventor in the telecommunication/Automobile industry. Held post as reasearch science officer at GreentechStarscan and CEO at StrayFrames Inc a CGI studio who's clients were Paramount pictures, Aura Pictures, Discovery Channel, ABC, CBS, NBC television and other technicle matters for Boeing Aerospace, General Dynamics, DARPA. The company relies on John’s technical and engineering/scientific expertise to help it identify and solve technical challenges.

 

Dee Au, Vice President of Operations

Dee has extensive experience in internet retail and operations management in multiple company environments, with an emphasis on start-up and ecommerce. She has been instrumental in establishing the company’s strong web and social media presence and will play a key role in ensuring that Ecocruise’s customers and distributors always have positive interactions with us. She formerly served as VP of Operations at AirsoftMegastore.com and was responsible for all operations and business functions, including the design and implementation of the strategic and operating plans. Prior to Airsoftmegastore.com, she served as the Operations Manager for Allstarhealth.com, one of the largest nutritional supplement internet retailers in the world.

 

Dean Wollgast, Director of Parts and Service

Dean has over 20 years of experience building, operating, and managing businesses with an emphasis in construction and hospitality. The nature of the businesses required Dean to demonstrate structured business management skills and strong inventory control to meet budgets. Dean takes special interest in construction and has the ability to understand complex building systems. He contributes to Ecocruise product design solutions and brings outstanding management experience to Ecocruise. Dean has also owned and managed three House Doctors Handyman Services franchises throughout the Puget Sound. 

 

Jennifer Qin, Executive Assistant

Jennifer brings to Ecocruise almost 20 years of experience within the functions of human resources, business and accounting. Her experience in handling a broad range of administrative functions and knowledge of accounting date back to her experiences with the Chinese Market in both her education at the University of Yangzhou, where she was one of the top of her class, and the various business network that she has established over the years. Jennifer is fluent in both English and Chinese.
